About ScamGuard Community
ScamGuard Community is a crowdsourced scam intelligence platform where people identify, track, and analyze potential scams so the whole community can stay ahead of fraud. Members file detailed reports of suspicious encounters, from phishing emails and investment schemes to marketplace and romance scams, attaching evidence such as screenshots, phone numbers, and wallet addresses. Every submission is reviewed through a tiered trust workflow: Trusted Investigators debate the evidence in a restricted channel, and Moderators issue the final verdict. Confirmed threats are published to the live intelligence feed with a severity rating, while activity that checks out is moved to the public Verified Safe archive, so nobody has to wonder whether a legitimate message is a trap.
The platform is built for anyone who wants to fight back: scam victims documenting what happened to them, family members checking on a suspicious call their parents received, and researchers looking for patterns across many reports. Reports can be filed by anyone, even without an account, and the searchable archive helps the next person avoid the same trap.
ScamGuard Community is built and maintained by the ScamGuard team together with its members, moderators, and allied anti-fraud organizations listed in the Allies directory. We treat other anti-scam organizations as partners, not competitors, and contributors earn reputation points when their reports are verified.
